Once known as "M" or "ME" cemetery (Methodist or Methodist Episcopalian). A church once stood here but in April 1884 the plans were made to move the U.B. Church to the town of Bristol. This church may be one of the first buildings in the town and then was later replaced with another building. The oldest grave found in this cemetery seems to be Daniel Douglas 1851 43Y. 4M. and 2D.
